Common Questions

Print Size FAQs

What DPI do I need for sharp prints?

300 DPI is the professional standard. All our files are delivered at 300 DPI, which means you can print at any standard size without any loss of sharpness or quality.

Can I print one file at multiple sizes?

Yes — a single 300 DPI file can be scaled down to any smaller size. You can print the same design as an A4 accent piece and an A1 statement print from the same file.

What paper should I print on?

For the best finish, use heavyweight matte paper (200gsm or more) or fine art paper. Avoid glossy photo paper for art prints — the glare can be distracting and the finish looks less premium.

Where can I get large prints made?

High-street print shops (Ryman, Staples, print shops) handle A2 and A1. For very large prints (A0, 24×36"), specialist online print services or canvas companies are best.
